Then the Centre for Better Living Massage Clinic is the place for you. Our students offer you a broad range of treatments at a highly discounted rate. All treatments are fully supervised and students will accurately assess your needs.
Students participating in the clinic are studying the Diploma of Remedial Massage and the Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage (Myotherapy) which is completed over 2.5 years. The clinic gives students real life practical expertise and assists them in gaining hands on experience.
The Wednesday clinic is operated by third year students and is open from March to June. All these students are fully qualified Remedial Therapists who are advancing their knowledge in the specialisation of Myotherapy. The Myotherapy students, when not offering their specialisation skills in the Centre of Better Living Massage Clinic, are either in their own private practice or are employed whilst continuing to advance their knowledge and skills. They are professional members of Professional Industry Associations.
The Thursday clinic is operated by first year students and is open from May to November.
The Friday clinic is operated by second year students and is open all year from March until November.
Students in each clinic are fully supervised by a qualified and experienced Massage Therapists &/or Myotherapists.
Students perform a variety of tasks including the management of the clinic. The clinic provides a range of treatments, stretching classes and has a fully equipped gymnasium where fitness assessments can be undertaken. As well as being used by the students and staff for practical class activities, the gymnasium is also open to the public and is staffed by students who are fully qualified fitness instructors.
