Engineering
Kangan Batman TAFE delivers pre-apprentice, apprentice, traineeship, cadetship, Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses in Engineering. We specialise in fitting and machining, welding and associated processes, metal fabrication, mechanical trades and manufacturing.
Full-time and part-time diploma and advanced diploma courses in Engineering (Mechanical) and Manufacturing. These courses include CAD design (AUTOCAD) and manufacturing projects. They can articulate to university engineering degree courses.

Flexible learning is the speciality of the engineering area. Our industry-experienced staff deliver competency based training and are able to custom design and implement workplace training to suit employees and businesses in the fields of general engineering and mechanical trades.
For students who are unemployed at the end of their course, Kangan Batman TAFE works closely with industry in helping with job placement. The engineering area has an excellent rapport with employment agencies, government apprenticeship organisations and related agencies.
