New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS)
The NEIS Information Booklet contains information on NEIS, including: course locations, starting dates throughout the year and a four page application form.
If you are unable to download this booklet, call 13 TAFE (13 8233) and have one posted to you.
Complete the form and attend an information session
Please fill out the application form and take it to one of our information sessions where you can discuss your business idea with a business counsellor.
It would be good to include with your application any documentation to show your qualifications, and any preliminary research you have done for your business idea.

In Person: Hand-deliver it in person to a business counsellor at any information session
or our main office at 38 Buckley Street, Essendon.
Your application will be processed once you have submitted your application form and attended an information/interview session. You will be notified via post if an offer of a place is approved, along with location details and instructions (i.e. what to bring on your first day).
Certificate IV in Small Business Management
The Certificate IV in Business (Small Business Management) Information Booklet contains an application form, information on cost, structure, starting dates and locations of the course.

You will be advised via post after the closing deadline whether your application has been successful, as well as the location details and what to bring to your first class. (Please note: payment for the course is not required until your first class).
This course can be completed by flexible learning at a time and place that suits you. You could study from home or in one of Kangan Institute's Flexible Learning Centres.
