Docklands campus
The Automotive Centre of Excellence (ACE) at Docklands is Kangan Institute's dedicated automotive training campus. Stage II of the campus was launched in 2012 and introduced new workshop spaces, a world-class vehicle and engine testing facility as well as a purpose-built auto electrical lab supplied by Training Systems Australia. Located on the southern edge of the CBD, the campus is central and accessible to Victoria's retail, service, repair and manufacturing industries. Designed to integrate automotive training and research and development under the one roof, the ACE is poised to become a key player in the rapidly developing field of automotive technology.
The ACE has achieved numerous environmental awards since its inauguration, including the Vic Urban Award of Excellence and a 5-Star Green Star Rating by the Green Building Council of Australia.
