457 visa program sponsors - Make a donationSponsors under the subclass 457 visa program are required to meet training benchmarks. This can easily be done by contributing to a recognised scholarship fund. Kangan Institute scholarship fund is approved by the Department of Immigration & Citizenship (DIAC) as a recognised scholarship fund which satisfies training Benchmark A. We can accept contributions from 457 visa program sponsors. |

Textile and fashion hubThe textile and fashion hub is a partnership between Kangan Institute, the Council of Textile and Fashion Industries (TFIA) and AusIndustry. Launched in 2012, the partnership aims to enhance the competitiveness of the textile industry through the provision of training programs that are specially designed in collaboration with industry, for industry. Training will be delivered at a new purpose-built facility that also serves as a central location for design-driven entrepreneurs to network, collaborate and access leading-edge equipment. |

Work Integrated Learning (WIL)Work Integrated Learning is an important component of a student's education and training experience at Kangan Institute. It enables the student to obtain knowledge of the workplace and put into practice skills learned in the classroom.The ICT teaching department at Kangan Institute hopes to place many of its students into workplaces for a period of time as part of the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) initiative.
