Kangan Institute's Learning Research & Design department has operated in the vocational education and training sector for over a decade and in that time has established a national reputation for innovation and excellence. Our work with a range of private and public clients has covered more than 30 industry areas, from airport security to child protection, Indigenous education, language literacy & numeracy, aviation and automotive, to name just a few.

Learning Research & Design has a strong commitment to providing quality products and services that are relevant to learners, industry, enterprises and our community. To consistently deliver a high standard of service, we operate and maintain a quality management system. This includes ensuring:

  • project outcomes and deliverables are clearly defined, negotiated with clients and communicated to staff
  • steering committees have an active role in guiding the development process
  • content of products and services are thoroughly checked for accuracy and quality
  • finances of projects are closely monitored to ensure deliverables are completed within budget
  • progress of projects is also closely monitored to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
