Twenty teachers undertook a vocational teacher training program at Kangan Institute. The program provided an overview of the national and Victorian frameworks for training and observations of classes for participating teachers to get a practical view of current methodologies.

A group of managers and trainers from a range of industry skills bodies visited Melbourne to undertake a study tour which included an introduction into the Australian VET system and the role of industry in Australian education.
A group of seventy students are studying English language for 12 months then progressing to the two year Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering in Melbourne.

Kangan Institute auspices the delivery of aerospace training at ACK, a quality vocational college delivering Australian qualifications in Kuwait.
Papua New Guinea
- International Education Agency of Papua New Guinea (IEA)
Kangan Institute auspices a range of programs through the IEA from business administration to accounting, hospitality and computing. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment programs are also conducted for staff.
Lao PDR
Kangan Institute has just completed a project in conjunction with RMIT to train workers at a mine site in building and construction and automotive studies.
