How to apply

1. Select your course(s)

Select the course(s) in which you are interested, and ensure you meet the academic entry requirements.

Students who do not have English as their first language, or did not attend a school where English was the language of instruction, must supply certified documentation of English language proficiency which meets the Institute's minimum entrance requirements (see Course Prerequisites section in Institute Services and Student Information and individual course listing).

Note: If English was the language of instruction at school, the Institute reserves the right to request additional proof of English language level.

2. Complete the Application for Enrolment Form

Complete the Application for Enrolment Form. All sections must be completed. Attach a passport sized photograph to the application form.

3. Documentation

Attach verified and attested copies of your academic qualifications, work experience (if applicable), IELTS test results and pages of your passport that confirm your personal details and passport number - please ensure all documentation is verified and attested by your education agent or authorised person.

4. Send your application

Send the application for enrolment and attested copies of relevant documents to:

Alternatively you can take your application to your nearest local Kangan Institute representative (education agent). E-mail Kangan Institute International for information regarding the nearest education agent.

5. Notification

Applicants will receive written notification of the outcome of their application.

If successful, applicants will receive a Letter of Offer stating the course into which they have been accepted, tuition fees, student amenities fee to be paid and the Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) charges.

6. Assessment Level 1 - 2 Countries:

  • To accept this offer, please forward payment (as per instalment 1 in the Letter of Offer) and completed and signed Acceptance Agreement to the International Office at Kangan Institute.
  • Upon receipt, Kangan Institute will issue the Confirmation of Enrolment (COE).
  • Present the COE to the Australian High Commission or Australian Embassy to apply for your student visa.

7. Assessment Level 3 - 4 Countries:

  • Submit your Letter of Offer to the Australian High Commission or Australian Embassy to apply for a Pre-Visa Assessment (PVA).
  • If PVA is granted forward payment (as per instalment 1 in the Letter of Offer), copy of PVA letter and completed and signed Acceptance Agreement to the International Office Kangan Institute.
  • Upon receipt, Kangan Institute will issue the COE.
  • Present the COE to the Australian High Commission or the Australian Embassy to finalise your student visa application.

8. Assessment Level 5 Countries:

If you come from an Assessment Level 5 Country you should contact their nearest Australian High Commission or Australian Embassy for advice.

Note: Your application for a student visa can be lodged in person or through an accredited Kangan Institute agent.

The places available in some program are extremely limited and the offer letter does not guarantee a place will be available at the time of paying your tuition fees. All candidates or their agents are advised to contact the International Office at Kangan Institute to confirm that there are still places available prior to paying tuition fees for the program. Places will be confirmed based on the date payment is received.
