When: Tuesday - Wednesday February 7 - 8, 2012

Attendance at orientation is COMPULSORY. You will not be allowed to commence your principle course if you have not attended the orientation program.

8.30am - 9.00am Auditorium Registration
9.00am - 9.20am Auditorium Welcome from the CEO and meet the International staff
9.30am - 10.30am Auditorium DIAC news - information about your student visa
10.45am - 11.45am Auditorium Victoria Police - meet the 'Boys in Blue' and find out how to stay safe in Melbourne
12.00pm - 1.00pm Student lounge Lunch (Halal and vegetarian available)
1:00pm - 1.30pm Auditorium Library and Learning Centre
1:30pm - 2.00pm Auditorium Metropolitan Fire Brigade - learn how to be safe from fire in your home
2.00pm - 2.15pm Auditorium Employment centre
2.15pm - 2.30pm   Break
2.30pm - 3.30pm Auditorium Panel discussion - homestay, gambling problems, people to talk to when you're homesick
3.30pm - 4.00pm Auditorium Student recreation

8.30am - 9.30am Auditorium The Australia Study Quiz Game - interact with new students and have fun as we discover how to be the best student you can be
9.30am - 11.00am Break-out rooms Enrolment and meet your teachers
11.00am - 12.00pm Auditorium Panel discussion - how to get help when you need it. Housing, legal help, sexual health. Meet the people who can help you with all the stuff you need to know.
12.00pm - 1.00pm Student lounge Lunch (Halal and vegetarian available)
1.00pm - 1.45pm Auditorium St John Ambulance - assisting Victorians in lots of different ways
2.00pm - 3.00pm Auditorium Life Saving Victoria - meet some real life-savers and learn how to be safe at beaches and rivers
3.00pm - 3.30pm Auditorium Australian Federation of International Students
3.30pm - 4.00pm Auditorium Prizes, awards and close
