My name is Hiroko and I started my studies in 2007. In preparation for my study in fashion I studied English at Kangan Institute

I am now in my final semester of three years of study in fashion at Kangan Institute and I still remember the short time I spent studying at the English Language Centre. I made so many friends and it really helped me adjust to being in Australia and getting ready for starting my main course.

When I first arrived I lived with an Australian family. The combination of homestay and the English Language Centre really was the best way to feel at home and get adjusted to the situation in Australia. Everything was new!

The Centre not only helped me with my English but it also assisted me in adjusting to the Australian way of learning. It is different to home and it made entry into my fashion course much easier.

I recommend that any students studying at Kangan Institute start with some study at the English Language Centre. I have now been at Kangan Institute for three years and the experience has been totally rewarding.
