I was referred by my agent from home to come study at Kangan Institute. I now see why, with the facilities that we had. I absolutely loved the library and librarians. Having such a facility at the campus made it so much easier to complete assignments and home work which I could do at the campus itself.
I could not have asked for better teachers. They took into consideration that we were from different countries and different backgrounds and made us feel comfortable. They also understood the differences in our beliefs and mannerisms from the culture here in Australia. The teachers were more like friends and also were a great help for references while helping us to get jobs as well.
I would say everything that I've learnt is very relevant to the industry. One would think during a class why we're even doing this unit. Since then, in my job, I've realised that so much of what I know and can apply in the workplace is all because of what I've been taught at Kangan Institute.
Because I absolutely loved the course especially the cooking, every practical cooking class was interesting for me. To know and learn about food I've never seen or tasted before was extremely interesting and fun.
