Festival of food, wine and jazzy beats

Come along to a relaxing afternoon of jazz music, food and wine tasting, hosted by Kangan Batman TAFE's Hospitality, Travel and Tourism students on Thursday 17 November.
This Food and Wine Festival will be held outdoors at the Broadmeadows campus ampitheatre area, and will feature food and wine tasting booths.
Ten wineries from the local region-Challen Estate, Mount William Winery, Yering Station, Goonawarra, Hanging Rock, Knights Granite Hills, Galli, Witchmount, Evelyn County Estate and Mount Cathedral Vineyards - will be represented by Advanced Wine Studies students on the day.
A four piece jazz band called, Peter Robinson and the Lounge Cats, will provide the entertainment.
Some of the treats on offer include Kangaroo sausages, pastries, cheese platters.
