A Huge Weekend of Worldskills

Twelve of Kangan Batman TAFE's most talented students will face a three-day grueling competition this weekend at the Worldskills National Competition. To be held between 5-7 May at the Melbourne Exhibition and Conference Centre, the competition will run in conjunction with The National Careers and Employment Expo. The two tiers of national competition including the Open Section and VET in Schools will be organised by WorldSkills Australia. There will be 13 categories in the VETiS competition and up to 45 categories for the Open Section.
The majority of the student competitors are from the automotive trades, with a few from the IT and Multimedia area.
