Kangan Batman TAFE students honoured with Premier's Award

Two Kangan Batman TAFE VET in Schools students have been recognised for excellence in the 2007 Premier's VCE Awards.held on May 31 2007.
Daniel Arizzoli from Braemar College was awarded for excellence in VCE VET Multimedia and James Bertschik from St Bedes for VCE VET Information Technology. Both students completed their VET Schools Certificate at Kangan Batman TAFE.
A total of 291 awards were presented to 283 students in the ceremony at Melbourne's Regent Theatre. Premier Steve Bracks along with the Governor of Victoria, Professor David de Kretser, his wife Janice, defence lawyer Lex Lasry QC, artist Lisa Roet and dancer and author Li Cunxin presented the awards to outstanding students.
'Each of these students must be congratulated for the energy and enthusiasm they have brought to their studies. Achieving excellence in any field is a great challenge and these students have shown what can be done with passion and commitment,' Mr Bracks said.
Kangan Batman TAFE CEO Ray Griffiths was delighted for the students and their award win.
'I would like to congratulate them for this achievement and let them know that we are proud that they have done so well,' Mr Griffiths said.
