First year fashion student has stunning win

Adam Tsen, first year fashion and clothing student at Kangan Batman TAFE has burst onto the fashion scene by winning the highly regarded Australian Masters of Fashion Contemporary Designer Award.
The Awards were held on July 6 at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne and professional and student designers from all over Australia competed for the coveted awards.
Not only did Adam win Contemporary Designer award he was also a finalist in the Contemporary Bridal Wear and Student Designer of the Year categories.
Currently studying a Certificate IV in Fashion and Clothing at Kangan Batman TAFE's Broadmeadows Campus, Adam is elated by the win.
'Winning this awards meant a lot to me. This is only the second time I've entered and to be able to win against my mentors and designers I look up to is amazing,' Adam said.
For now the star designer will continue his studies and then work towards his future goals in the fashion industry.
'I find that Kangan offers me all the skills and knowledge I need in the industry of fashion. And this win will open many doors and broaden my horizons for future prospects of a job and eventually opening my own fashion house,' Adam said.
