Team Hyundai came in first in the Under 2.5 litre Production Car class, completing 219 laps to finish 18th outright after 12 gruelling hours of racing.

The Hyundai Kangan Batman TAFE team is made up of 30 members. Five of them are Kangan Batman TAFE Motor sport Students and four of them are Kangan Batman TAFE staff.

Team Hyundai Manager and Kangan Batman TAFE teacher Greg Moulden expressed his delight with the result.

‘We gave the drivers the Sonata as we knew it was a reliable and quality car they could drive all day. We worked our way through brake and suspension setup on the weekend then didn't lift the bonnet at all on Sunday.'
