Tuning up for UNL3ASH3D CD launch

Students from Kangan Batman TAFE's Gunung-Willam-Balluk Indigenous Learning Centre will be tuning up over the next week in preparation for the launch of the UNL3ASH3D CD.
Over the past few months, the Indigenous students have been writing and recording for the inaugural CD release which will be officially launched at the Broadmeadows campus on Wednesday June 4, 2008.
UNL3ASH3D is a collaborative effort by past and present Indigenous music and non-music students and forms part of their coursework requirements. Tracks were recorded at the Gunung-Willam-Balluk centre and have been mastered in a professional studio ready for the CD release.
Students will take to the stage at the launch event with live performances featuring a heavy metal/rock influence.
Copies of the UNL3ASH3D CD will be available for purchase, and guests will have the opportunity to speak with the artists about their musical journeys.
