Kangan Batman TAFE tops Education Department figures

1 July 2008

Graduates from Kangan Batman TAFE's VCE program have the highest level of enrolment in further Vocational Education and Training in Victoria.

The figures were released by the Victorian Education Department on June 16 and display the level of success that Kangan Batman TAFE has with creating pathways for its students.

Fifty three percent of students who studied VCE at Kangan Batman TAFE went on to enrol in TAFE education. This is the level highest in the state.

Kangan Batman TAFE's VCE Co-ordinator Mark Robinson said the Institute's success in this area could be attributed to the diversity of the students and the Institute's focus on an individual's development.

'The course is designed to improve your employment prospects, encourage personal development, qualify you for entry into tertiary courses and provide students with skills in a number of subject areas.'
