2009 Food and Wine Festival & European Travel Expo

Kangan Batman TAFE hospitality travel and tourism students will host the ever-popular 2009 Food and Wine Festival and European Travel Expo next week on October 22.

The annual event is a perennial favourite for many locals who gather to enjoy fine wine from the region's leading vineyards while grooving along to some smooth jazz sounds at the Broadmeadows campus.

This year's event will feature a wide range of European destination booths - perfect for those seeking new horizons for that next big holiday.

Wineries from the local region, including Hanging Rock, Curly Flat, Galli Estate, Granite Hills, Evelyn County Estate, will be represented by advanced wine studies students on the day.

What: 2009 Food and Wine Festival, European Travel Expo

When: Thursday 22 October 2009, 4pm to 7pm

Where: Kangan Batman TAFE Broadmeadows campus courtyard, Pearcedale Parade

Cost: $10 per head (including food and wine tastings) / $5 for students
