Get ready to engulf your senses with great food, wine and music at Kangan Institute next week.

Our talented students will be hosting two fantastic events back-to-back and anyone interested in wine, food, travel and music are welcomed to come along!

Food and Wine European Expo

On Thursday October 20, Kangan Institute's event management students will host the annual Food and Wine European Expo at our Broadmeadows Campus.

Participants will get to sample a range of special treats prepared by our very own cookery students and enjoy wine tasting from eight local wineries, with tasting notes delivered to you by our hospitality students.

Amidst relaxing music, raffles and giveaways, our tourism students will also host a European Travel Expo with some great information about European travel destinations.

Winberri Music Festival

Kangan Institute's Hospitality, Tourism and Events department will host the Winberri Music Festival on Friday October 21 at the Indigenous Education Centre (IEC).

Organised by our first year Diploma of Events students Kirsten Jones and Josephine Pallet as part of their assessment, the festival will feature a performance by the talented singer/songwriter Illana Atkinson.

The evening's event will also showcase the capabilities of our teachers and students from cookery, hospitality and the IEC through a three-course dinner and live entertainment.

This will be the eighth year for Kangan Institute to successfully obtain a grant from Hume City Council to host the festival.
