Scholarship program for School Leavers

Kangan Institute currently has five scholarships up to the value of $5000 available to students. The scholarships will be valid for up to two years only and will cover a wide range of vocational areas and different qualification levels across our teaching departments. Scholarships awarded contribute towards course fees and materials fees for one year of study.

The Brown Family Educational Grant is a gift from Michael Brown who has chosen to donate $10,000 to create a grant that helps disadvantaged or special needs applicants of a VCAL program at Kangan Institute or graduates of a VCAL program to continue their studies at a tertiary level at Kangan Institute.

In 2012 the Brown Family Educational Grant will offer five VCAL applicants or graduates who are continuing their studies at Kangan Institute and suffer from a learning disability or have come from a disadvantaged background a $1000 educational grant to help with the first year of their tertiary studies.

The grant will be given at intervals throughout their course but will only last for their first year of study at Kangan Institute.
