Employment Centre
Kangan Institute's in-house Employment Centre assists Kangan Institute students to find work through developing their employability skills and job search skills. The Centre provides interview coaching and jobsearch assistance including regular workshops on preparing resumes and job applications.
The Employment Centre is also a comprehensive recruitment service for external companies and organisations. We offer a comprehensive, free professional recruitment service, apprenticeships, and traineeships advertised across the institute. Students using the service are considered for these positions.
The Employment Centre also provides:
- Job Vacancy listings
- Career and course advice
- Resume workshops, resume tips and creating a resume online guide
- Assistance with application letters and access to job searching tools (phone, fax, newspapers, Internet, postage)
- Advice on how to approach employers and using telephone techniques
- 'How to' guides and resources
- Links to other online resources for finding employment
