Who is eligible?

The Employment Centre at Kangan Institute provides free assistance to:

• current students and recent graduates of Kangan Institute (graduates must have finished their course in the past 12 months).

How does the service work?

Employers from a wide range of industries regularly contact us to lodge their employment vacancies. We also have a range of contacts with Group Training Companies and may be able to refer you to another agency where appropriate.

What other help can I get?

The Employment Centre also provides the following free services:

• Resume workshops and assistance with application letters
• Access to job searching tools (phone, fax, newspapers and online resources)
• Advice on canvassing employers and telephone techniques
• 'How to' guides and resources (link to Section 6)
