LLC collections
The LLC maintains extensive collections that reflect courses offered at Kangan Batman TAFE.
General Collection
This collection includes books, video cassettes, audio cassettes and magazines. It is arranged in Dewey Decimal Classification order.
Magazines
Each campus LLC has a wide selection of magazines relating to the courses taught at that campus. Current issues of magazines are not for loan. Back issues are available for 7 day loan.
Reference Collection
This collection includes encyclopedias, atlases, dictionaries, bibliographies, indexes, etc. Reference items are not available for loan.
Counter Reserve
This collection is kept in a restricted area, which can only be accessed by LLC staff. This collection includes teacher notes. The loan period for Counter Reserve is three hours. Patrons must present a current KBT ID card to borrow from this collection. Counter Reserve items may not be taken out of the LLC.
High Demand - 24 hour loan
This collection is kept in a restricted area, which can only be accessed by LLC staff. This collection includes high demand items that may be borrowed for 24 hours. Patrons must present a current KBT ID card to borrow from this collection.
