Cast off confidently as we teach you basic operations, seasonal maintenance and set-up of an outboard power unit. You can leave land in your wake as you learn all about basic service procedures and maintenance on your pride and joy. What you learn here could also give you a handy foot-in-the-door for job opportunities in the recreational marine industry.
This course covers basic service procedures and maintenance on your outboard power unit. You will learn servicing and maintenance, basic understanding of an outboard motor, basic Knowledge of hand tools and techniques, and basic marine equipment safety.
General interest in boats powered by outboard engines.
Participant requirements:
Student must supply and wear leather upper work boots and suitable workshop clothing.
