Course overview
To enjoy this course you will already have some knowledge of psychology and want to learn more about your behaviour and the behaviour of others. It explores and encourages an understanding of the theories and concepts of psychological research methods, of the biological basis of behaviour, and intelligence and mental disorders.

Learning outcomes
The student will develop an understanding about psychology in our everyday lives, exploring ideas such as psychological research methods, psychological testing, intelligence, mental health issues and stress management.
Pre-requisite & eligibility requirements
Students must be over 18 years of age to enrol in the course.
Participant requirements
Participants are required to attend all sessions and participate in group discussions.

The teacher is an experienced psychologist who helps students explore issues such as psychological research methods, testing, intelligence, mental health issues and stress management. Note: This short course is not linked to an accredited unit of competency.
