Course structure
This course is designed to offer participants practical training in language teaching, theoretical background in language and cultural awareness. The focus of the course is the development of skills for practical classroom teaching.
This qualification, in addition to a degree which is recognised in Australia, and either a Diploma of Education or a minimum of 800 hours of teaching experience, meets the minimum standard for registration as an ESL teacher in Australia under the National ELICOS Accreditation Scheme (NEAS).
