Course structure
This course is designed to offer participants practical training in language teaching, a theoretical background in language and cultural awareness. The course focuses on developing skills for practical classroom teaching.
This qualification, in addition to a degree which is recognised in Australia, and either a Diploma of Education or a minimum of 800 hours of teaching experience, meets the minimum standard for registration as an ESL teacher in Australia under the national ELICOS Accreditation Scheme (NEAS).
