Course overview
Our project management courses give you the skills required for an array of varied project work across a diverse range of business at supervisory or middle management level. Part-time study options available in the evening to fit your schedule.
Project Management has cross-industry application and involves large, medium and small businesses. Increasingly, project management is being undertaken both for internal and external clients and participation in globally distributed teams for global multi-organisational projects, which is becoming more common.

What employment opportunities will I have?
This qualification provides varied project work across the diversity of business and at a supervisory or middle management level.
Roles may include branch/section leader, project management, project manager, construction/health, or a project manager.
The units within the course address a range of project management functions relevant to the level of work performed across areas such as time management, finances, quality management, human resource management, communications, procurement and risk management in the context of projects and programs.
What skills will I have when I complete this course?
You will gain the knowledge to successfully direct the management of a project in a variety of industry settings.
What qualifications will I receive?
On successful completion of the course you will be awarded the Advanced Diploma of Project Management. As part of the Australian Qualifications Framework this program is nationally recognised.
What opportunities for further studies will I have?
Successful completion of this course gives you direct entry into the final year of the Bachelor of Applied Managment delivered by the University of Ballarat at our Broadmeadows campus. This course also provides pathways to other university courses.
Can I apply?
It is expected that applicants to this course will have already completed a diploma and/or have five to ten years industry experience.

You will be assessed to show that you have achieved the skills and knowledge required by the course. Assessment may include written, oral or practical assessment methods. You will be advised in advance about the type of assessment and how it will operate. There is the opportunity for reassessment and appeal and you will be provided with this information.
