Course overview
This course builds on the Certificate II in Information Technology. It investigates Client, PC, Call Centre, Help Desk, and User Support. It supports information technology activities in the workplace. It is great for preparing students for Certificate IV in Information Technology. This course is offered fully on-line or Flexibly at our Essendon Library and Learning Centre.

What employment opportunities will I have?
This course will give you skills to work under supervision in basic PC support, basic network and system administration or in first level help desk roles.
What skills will I have when I complete this course?
You will gain advanced internet skills, VOIP skills and a range of first level support skills in ICT. Computer hardware and diagnostic tools are also covered.
What qualifications will I receive?
When you successfully complete this course, you will be awarded the Certificate III in Information Technology. As part of the Australian Qualifications Framework, this program is nationally recognised.
What opportunities for further studies will I have?
You may continue on to higher level studies, such as Certificate IV in Information Technology, up to an Advanced Diploma of Information Technology.
Can I apply?
To apply for this course you must have completed the Certificate II in Information Technology course or its equivalent. It is recommended that you have satisfactory numeracy and literacy skills to undertake this course or are of mature age and have sufficient work experience.
