Course overview

This course is designed for those who want to be an Enrolled Nurse (EN).

This course now includes the administration of enteral, topical, subcutaneous and intramuscular medications. The administration of intravenous medications requires further education beyond this course.

This is a very demanding course - applicants must be serious about completing the course. Students who do not meet the demanding requirements will not proceed beyond Foundation Studies (Term 1) unless they are deemed safe to practice. As of 2011, the Certificate IV in Nursing will be possibly changing to the Diploma of Nursing (subject to Board Approval). Please see also the Diploma of Nursing for further information.
