This course is designed for professionals in the Real estate industry who would like to gain formal qualification.
The Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) is the qualification prescribed by the Business Licensing Authority (BLA), a division of Consumer Affairs Victoria, as the educational requirement to apply for a real estate licence in Victoria.

What costs and other fees should I expect?
Call the Contact Centre on 13 TAFE (13 8233) or email enquiries@kangan.edu.au for a fee schedule. There is also a materials cost of $795.00 which covers all books.
What employment opportunities will I have?
Successful completion of this course, along with evidence of 12 months' experience working as a registered agent's representative will enable the qualification holder to run their own real estate agency.
What skills will I have when I complete this course?
You will gain skills in all aspects of work required to operate as a licenced Real Estate Agent.
What qualifications will I receive?
On successful completion of the course you will be awarded the Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) - CPP40307. As part of the Australian Qualifications Framework this program is nationally recognised.
What opportunities for further studies will I have?
This course will lead to higher level studies at Diploma level. Credit transfers may be available into the Diploma of Property Services (Agency Management).
Can I apply?
To undertake this course it is expected that you are currently employed in the real eastate industry and you will have at least 12 months experience. It is also expected that you will have satisfactory numeracy and literacy skills to undertake this course.

How long is the course?
The course spans 25 weeks, 2 nights per week (Tuesday and Thursday evenings) 6pm - 9.30 pm.

You will study at the Broadmeadows campus.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed to show that you have achieved the skills and knowledge required by the course. Assessment may include written, oral or practical assessment methods. You will be advised in advance about the type of assessment and how it will operate. There is the opportunity for reassessment and appeal and you will be provided this information.
