This course will prepare you for a new career in quality management and assurance, or give you a qualification if you are already working in the field.
What skills will I have when I complete this course?
You will gain skills in the development, implementation and maintenance of quality systems to achieve quality assurance certification for best practice for specific workplace activities. You will provide leadership and guidance to work with teams and management advisory groups, train workplace teams in problem-solving, negotiation and conflict resolution and be involved in recognising and dealing with organisational culture and change management.
What qualifications will I receive?
On successful completion of the course you will be awarded the Certificate IV in Quality Management and Assurance. As part of the Australian Qualifications Framework this program is nationally recognised.
What opportunities for further studies will I have?
On successful completion of this course, further studies are available in related diploma level courses.
Can I apply?
There are no set prerequisites for this course. However, it is recommended that you have satisfactory numeracy and literacy skills to undertake this course or are mature age and have sufficient work experience to successfully undertake this course.

This course is offered part-time over one semester.
Where and how can I study?
Classes are held at our Broadmeadows campus. and will be a mixture of evening classes, flexible project work and a Saturday half day workshop.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed to show that you have achieved the skills and knowledge required by the course. Assessment may include written, oral or practical assessment methods. You will be advised in advance about the type of assessment and how it will operate. There is the opportunity for reassessment and appeal and you will be given this information.
