Kangan Institute provides on-campus network services (wireless) to all staff and students. This upgrade project was funded by the Australian Government through the Teaching and Learning Capital Fund (TLCF) for Vocational Education and Training (VET).
This means that Kangan Institute students and staff across all campuses have access to wireless coverage (with speeds up to 100Mbps) in every classroom, staff room, student common room and external spaces, effectively transforming all indoor and outdoor spaces at Kangan Institute into new wireless learning areas.
In the fast-paced world of information technology, staying abreast of industry best practice is important. Our students have access to state-of-the-art computer laboratories across our main campuses, including Apple Macintosh pods at the Broadmeadows and Richmond campuses.
Many of our courses also encourage a blended learning approach that incorporates both face-to-face training and online learning resources. Students undertaking the aviation diploma program (for international students) are provided with iPads as part of the course.
