The Indigenous Education Centre at Kangan Institute’s Broadmeadows campus is a cultural and spiritual centre bringing together Indigenous cultures from across Victoria, with a focus on the local Gunung-Willam-Balluk people.
Our award winning and nationally accredited indigenous courses are a culmination of our
commitment to the integration of indigenous culture in everything we do. Our teachers and staff have created a safe and nurturing environment where you can study a variety of TAFE courses.
Dedicated facilities, industry recognised TAFE courses and flexibility in delivery of our indigenous education programs means that students can find the TAFE course of their choice, and training methods and timings that suit them best.
Students learn through a combination of classroom, practical, flexible and online learning techniques.
We offer Cultural Arts training from the Certificate II to Certificate IV level as well as offering students the option of choosing and enrolling in a TAFE course of their choice from the wider institute.
