VCAL is an alternative to the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) for students in years 11 and 12. VCAL offers you hands-on and practical experience whilst at the same time improving your literacy and numeracy skills, developing industry specific and work related skills as well as helping grow your personal development skills. When you finish your course you will not only have had practical work-related experience but you will also gain a qualification to help you find a job, start an apprenticeship or traineeship or even go onto further study.
Foundation VCAL is designed to help you develop your learning and social skills
Intermediate VCAL will introduce you to a new set of employability and interpersonal skills that will help you go onto further education, training or employment.
Senior VCAL will equip you with a high level of knowledge, employability and interpersonal skills to go onto further education, training or employment.
