Victorian Certificate of Education

What is VCE?

The Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) is awarded for the completion of secondary education in Victoria. Graduates of the VCE may apply for entry into university or TAFE and it is often the minimum level of education required by prospective employers.

Kangan Institute offers a range of VCE programs suitable for:

  • younger students wishing to complete their secondary studies in an alternative environment
  • adult students wishing to return to study
  • students wanting to combine the VCE with Vocational Education and Training (VET) certificates
  • students from non-English speaking backgrounds

The VCE may be studied full-time or part-time, and classes are offered both during the day and evening. The VCE is offered at the Broadmeadows campus, with an exciting new Fashion, Sport and Recreation and Allied Health VCE program to be offered at the Richmond campus from 2014.
