Course Overview

This course is for appropriate specialist plumbing services tradespeople seeking to increase their technical competency. Gain the appropriate skills to plan and size the layout of plumbing in buildings up to six stories high. This course also addresses the Victorian license requirements for water, drainage, sanitary, roofing and gas fitting.

You will have had to have completed a Certificate III in Plumbing to be able to apply for thie course. It is recommended that you have satisfactory numeracy and literacy skills to undertake this course or are mature age and have sufficient work experience to successfully undertake the course.

What skills will I have when I complete this course?

This course is for appropriate specialist plumbing services tradespeople seeking to increase their technical competency. Gain the appropriate skills to plan and size the layout of plumbing in buildings up to six stories high. This course also addresses the Victorian license requirements for water, drainage, sanitary, roofing and gas fitting. Offered part time during the day over two years plus additional work to be completed off campus, or part time one night per week over three years plus additional work to be completed off campus or full time during the day over one year.

What qualifications will I receive?

On successful completion of the course you will be awarded the Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services. As part of the Australian Qualifications Framework this program is nationally recognised.
