Harriet chose to study Education Support following her interest in working with children with additional needs. After graduating from Kangan Institute, she started working in special education at a school in the Cook Islands.

Why did you choose to study Education Support?

I choose education support because I wanted to enhance my knowledge and understanding of supporting children with additional needs. I wanted to know how I can best support them in their education

Why did you choose Kangan Institute?

I chose Kangan institute because it had a wide range of support systems and was easily accessible to me. Their support team was helpful and made the process of applying and studying seamless and Stress-free.

What did you enjoy about studying the program?

I enjoyed how passionate my teacher was. Her passion and joy for education support rubbed off on all of us. It made me excited for what was ahead and fostered my passion for education support.

What is your future plan?

Eventually, I would love to go back and do my masters in special education. For now, I am working in the Cook Islands in a mainstream school that also specialises in special education. I work across the board but also One-to-one.
