Automotive Centre of Excellence

The Automotive Centre of Excellence (ACE) was established to spur the growth of industry enterprises by bringing together customised, hands-on automotive training, research, and development in one precinct.

Established in Docklands, ACE is designed to be central and accessible to Victoria’s retail, service, repair, and manufacturing industries.

At ACE, Kangan Institute offers a range of nationally-accredited TAFE qualifications and short courses, This includes light and heavy vehicles to outdoor power equipment, marine mechanics and motorcycles. Specialised training plans are also developed to address unique needs, with flexible learning options including on-site training.

ACE is becoming a key player in the rapidly developing field of automotive technology and is involved in new research and application of improved fuels, engines, and automotive design technology.
