Support Services

 
Student Counselling is here to assist you with a range of challenges that may present during your time with Kangan Institute. Wether is be personal issues, stress management, study skills or general mental health concerns, our qualified and experienced practitioners are here to work with you to succeed.

Available in person across our various campuses Monday to Friday, 9.00 to 5.00, via phone on 03 9279 2511 or via email on counsellor@kangan.edu.au our team can also connect with you via various platforms; Face time, Lync, Blue Jeans or Skype for instance, as suitable for candidates and students. Inclusive environments and education are an integral part of the Kangan Institute experience and Disability Support is available to any student identifying as having access to education impacted by a disability. Ranging from in-class support to technological solutions, emergency medical plans to inclusive community activities, our Disability Liaison Officer is there to improve your access and enjoyment whilst studying with Kangan Institute.

Our Welfare Services team can provide information, support and guidance on a range of financial and accommodation matters for candidates and students. From Scholarship applications to emergency relief, the Welfare team focus on your needs in a demanding world.

The Library and Learning Centres are located across 4 of our campuses with our e-Library accessible 24/7 online. We also offer an in-house bookshop from our Broadmeadows campus Library.

Extensive information and support is available online via the LLC website at http://libguides.kangan.edu.au/home/ including LibChat – an active Q&A with a knowledgeable librarian around all things relating to the Library resources and learning additions; online catalogues, eBook collections and database access. Our friendly team can also assist with Study and Researching skills, Assignment support and refer you to the right person for that extra level of support. We also partner with BookMyne to provide the ‘Library in your Pocket’ app – just contact the Library team and download the app to get started.
