There are no prerequisites for this course. However, it is recommended that you have satisfactory numeracy and literacy skills to undertake this course or are mature age. Mature age is anyone over the age of 18 who has been out of full-time education for more than 12 months.

This course will equip you with the required skills to work in the administration area of any business, such as administrative officer, receptionist, accounts payable and/or accounts receivable officer.

You will gain an intermediate level of office, administrative and technology skills as well as soft skills needed in a team environment. You will develop an understanding of Critical thinking, customer service, word processing, computer applications and document presentation.
What qualifications will I receive?
On completion of this course, you will be awarded the nationally accredited Certificate III in Business (BSB30120).
What opportunities for further studies will I have?
You may continue on to full-time study in the Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or Human Resources Management. Upon completion of the Certificate IV, this qualification can be used as a pathway to the Diploma of Leadership and Management or Human Resources Management.
