Agriculture Courses

Agriculture can span many different things. At Kangan, we offer choices of training for working on the land, with plants, animals, in parks and gardens, conservation and more.

Most of our courses within or related to agriculture are offered at our Broadmeadows campus.

Why Kangan Institute: for Agriculture, Animal & Other Studies

Kangan Institute offers nationally recognised paid and free TAFE courses in areas like agriculture, horticulture, animal care, conservation, park and garden maintenance, landscaping, and laboratory sciences.

Practical, industry-driven training—delivered via apprenticeships and real-world projects—ensures graduates are job-ready. Based at Broadmeadows, we provide blended classroom, lab, and on-farm learning.

From the classroom to the land (and lab)

Kangan Institute collaborates with employers via its Industry Solutions team and Employment Centre, bringing real job placements to students. Graduates work with organisations like Oasis Horticulture, while local farm and vet businesses regularly recruit diploma-qualified alumni.

Our agriculture courses are delivered at our Broadmeadows campus. For potential regional students, agriculture courses are also offered at Bendigo TAFE.
