Twenty recipients of an Australia Awards Fellowship- Papua New Guinea (PNG) scholarship successfully completed the Melbourne component of their Certificate IV in Project Management, enjoying a celebration and farewell ceremony on 4 December at Kangan Institute’s Docklands campus.

Kangan Institute’s apprentice chef, Brad Sutton, has achieved a gold medal at the 2015 Australian Culinary Federation Fonterra Foodservice National Apprentice Competition Final on 14 October.

On Tuesday the 22nd of September, over 80 apprentice chefs from across Victoria made their way to Bendigo to compete in the AUS TAFE Culinary State Finals. Kangan Institute was represented by Bree Sharpe, Samuel Wood, Rocco Morabito, Adisa Seferovic and Bradley Sutton, while Bendigo TAFE representatives included Jackson Blakemore, Miranda Price, Harry Gibbs, Jason Dowd, Nikita Tatt, Casey Bennet and Braiden Fry.
