    This course aims to provide you with knowledge and skills in the field of light vehicle mechanics. You will study a range of specialist modules including petrol fuel systems, cooling systems and associated components, transmissions (automatic), final drive assemblies, diagnostic procedures and electronic drive management systems.

    Modes of Study

    This course requires face to face classroom study and compulsory work placement (arranged by Kangan Institute) of 300 hours. Classes will be scheduled between 8.00am and 9.00pm Monday to Friday. Timetables will be confirmed at orientation.

  • Certificate IV In Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis

    The Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis course provides advanced training for automotive technicians who want to further develop their diagnostic and technical skills. This automotive diagnostics course enables participants to enter employment in a senior, supervisory, or managerial role within the automotive and repair industry.

  • Diploma Of Automotive Technology

    This qualification will enable you to diagnose, analyse and evaluate faults in vehicle sub systems. You will develop your skills in researching and presenting technical reports. You will learn in varying environments from lectures, practical demonstrations through to experiencing servicing and repairing vehicles in both a simulated and automotive work placement program.
