Kangan Institute offers international students a wide range of support services, making their arrival to Australia and their time with us more enjoyable. These include:
International Department
The International Office is located at the Docklands campus and provides assistance with orientation, organising social events and answering your questions. The Student Support Officer attends solely to the welfare needs of international students and visits all campuses regularly.

Student Engagement and Retention
The Student Engagement and Retention (SE&R) offers a variety of free and confidential support services ranging from:
Orientation
A comprehensive orientation program is delivered to international students during the week prior to the beginning of the semester. Attendance is compulsory for all international students commencing their formal course at the Institute.
Graduation
The international graduation and award ceremony is organised to celebrate the achievements of students who have completed their studies with us.
Library and learning centre
Library services are available at all campuses. Browse and borrow books, magazines, DVDs or access computers and quiet study areas at these libraries.
Employment Centre
Our Employment Centre is dedicated to assisting students to understand and develop their employability skills to help them find meaningful and sustainable employment. The centre can assist with a range of job search and employment related activities and resources and can also provide one-on-one assistance with job searching and writing applications.
