Kangan Institute is pleased to announce the appointment of Grant Sutherland as the new Chief Executive Officer. Mr Sutherland will succeed Mr Richard Turnbull who has held the role of interim CEO since February 2013. Mr Sutherland brings with him over 14 years of experience in the VET sector and is currently the CEO at The Gordon. Prior to this he was the deputy CEO and executive director for business development. Kangan Institute's Board President Michael Brown expressed his delight at the appointment which followed an extensive recruitment process that considered a strong field of internal and external candidates. "The Board is delighted to welcome Grant Sutherland as the new CEO to lead the Institute's next phase of growth and development as we continue to meet and exceed the needs of our students and industry," said Mr Brown. "We'd also like to thank interim CEO Richard Turnbull and general managers who have provided great support and leadership over the last few months, clearly reflecting the capability of the team and the business."
