Join us for High Fashion High Tea at the Westin Melbourne

Join Kangan Institute and The Westin Melbourne in ushering in the Spring Racing season with High Fashion High Tea on Sunday 7th October.

More than 20 creative headwear made by Kangan Institute millinery graduates and current students will be on showcase alongside renowned Melbourne milliners Melissa Jackson and Serena Lindeman, all while guests enjoy an array of sweet and savoury high tea delights.

With 2016 Fashions on the Field national winner Courtney Moore as guest speaker and a student award presentation also lined up, the event promises the best of millinery construction, couture trimming, design and patternmaking to inspire looks for the upcoming Spring Races.

“Kangan Institute is delighted to collaborate with The Westin Melbourne and celebrate the achievements of our talented millinery students through High Fashion High Tea,” said Kangan Institute CEO Trevor Schwenke.

“This annual millinery showcase is attended by some of the most acclaimed designers and key representatives from this niche industry, which makes it a great platform for our students to demonstrate their skills and creativity and launch a great future in the field.”
