Kangan Institute has been awarded Australia’s Large Training Provider of the Year – Gold at the 2025 Australian Training Awards in Darwin.

Driving growth and impact
Under Kangan Institute’s 2030 Strategic Plan – Growth for Impact, we have gained powerful momentum through initiatives that include:
· Investing in priority skills: Opening a Health and Community Centre of Excellence in Broadmeadows and introducing national-first hydrogen and electric motorcycle training.
· Expanding access and infrastructure: Commencing construction of Hume Tech School and progressing new campuses in Sunbury and Melton.
· Leading through innovation and partnerships: Developing an Advanced Diploma of Applied Innovation as one of only two self-accrediting TAFEs nationally.

This national award follows our recent win as 2025 Victorian Large Training Provider of the Year and builds on our success in 2022, when we were named Australian Training Provider of the Year.
