Kangan Institute renews partnership with PPG

Kangan Institute of TAFE is proud to renew its longstanding partnership with PPG Paint Industries, a world leader in automotive paint applications and original equipment manufacturing.

PPG Paint will support up to 60 Kangan Institute apprentices annually, provide product experts to conduct master classes for our teachers as well as students studying vocational education, and offer the latest training materials for use at the Institute’s Automotive Centre of Excellence.

“We are very pleased to renew our partnership with PPG,” said Kangan Institute’s education manager for commercial vehicle and engine technology Gavin Cribb.

“This partnership means that our students gain valuable experience working with the latest tools and equipment. This ensures our students gain work-ready skills needed by industry today.”

PPG also highlighted the benefits of the renewed partnership for students, apprentices and the industry.

“After many years of aligning ourselves as a strategic partner of Kangan Institute, we are delighted to formally renew our partnership with the Automotive Centre of excellence,” said PPG Business Manager for Victoria and Tasmania Chris Edwards.

“This will enable us to further develop hand-in-hand student and teaching staff programs and provide world-class automotive training experiences and technologies to assist Kangan Institute of TAFE in remaining at the cutting edge of our industry.”
