Kangan Toyota and Lean a success story

Kangan Institute's Centre for Competitive Operations (CCO) has won a tender to train Toyota team leaders across Australia in Certificate III in Auto Manufacture.

Ray Perl and John Ferraro have already begun to deliver the program to 14 leaders at the Sydney centre.

The experience of CCO staff no doubt helped Toyota choose Kangan. In 2012 CCO has trained staff at Toyota Boshoku, Suzuki, Denzo, Willow, Edlyn Foods and Avweld to name a few.

Toyota would have also noted Kangan's lean journey which links the progress of both organisations. The training units selected include lean principles.

CCO staff are proud that Toyota, the archetypical lean organisation described in the book "The Toyota Way" has chosen our team to complement their successful systems with our training across their Australian operation.
